9 Day Nairobi
DAY 1: NORTH AMERICA. Depart the USA for our international flight to Nairobi. Dinner and breakfast served on board our flight.
DAY 2: FRANKFURT or ADDIS ABABA- We arrive in Europe or Africa for a short lay-over and then continue our flight to Kenya.
DAY 3: NAIROBI - Arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 5:00 AM to meet your tour escort and transfer to your hotel to rest up from our flight. Afternoon is at leisure.
DAY 4: NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK. After breakfast at the hotel we drive towards Southlands of Nairobi where the Nairobi National Park is situated. On arrival proceed for your game drive in search of lions, buffaloes, giraffe, zebra etc. After lunch we visit the National Museum where you are able to see Snakes, etc. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: MOTHERY CARE CHILDREN HOME- After a rest proceed to the Motherly Care Children home and visit the children whose parents died of Aids. Please donate to the Children! After the Children's Home proceed to the Famous Kebera Slums and see how people stay without toilets in Africa, no water, no sewerages and visit USHILIKA VILLAGE, which caters for the sick, and the needy in the slums in Nairobi. Please donate! . Lunch of your own, then rest of the day at leisure.
DAY 6: KAREN BLIXEN / BOMAS CARNIVORE LUNCH- After breakfast we leave for a tour to Karen Blixen's home and to the Giraffe Centre to see and feed the RothChild Giraffe. Then we proceed to Bomas of Kenya. At Bomas you will enjoy the African dancers and Cultures. Afterward we proceed for lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. After Carnivore proceed to the former American Embassy office and see how the terrorist bombed and killed innocent people and injuring 3000. Meet the staff of the bank who are jobless after the bomb blast. Their children are out of school because of school fees and their houses sold by the bank. You can donate if you wish, after the Embassy, proceed for your city tour to the Kenya railway station and Parliament of Kenya. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
DAY 7: NAIROBI CHURCH SERVICE. After breakfast we leave for a service at a local church. After the church service we return to the hotel for leisure time.
DAY 8: SHOPPING - After breakfast we spend the day shopping by visiting the City Market and the famous Zanzibar Curio shop. Then proceed to Eastlands Mothers village. This village is a home for mothers with AIDS and HIV. Please donate. After the Village, proceed for your tour to Industrial area where you will visit Lab and Allied pharmaceutical factory. Visit the Libra house for curios and then proceed to the Entire industrial area and finish with the MUKURU Children home that cares for the Children with Aids. Please donate. Dinner and overnight at our hotel. B/B basis.
DAY 9: AIRPORT TRANSFER. After breakfast we have leisure time for last minute shopping. Late this afternoon we transfer to the airport for our flight home at 8:00 PM. Dinner and breakfast served on board our flight.
DAY 10: USA. This morning we arrive back in the United States.
